If you are interested in participating in wound care research then becoming a Research Friend of WoW will provide the right opportunities for collective collaboration in this area. As a Research Friend of WoW you will be listed on our registry of Research Fellows and be entitled to take advantage of the following opportunities:
- Participate in various research projects as a member of the research team or as the team leader. As research ideas are generated and posted on the WoW web site all Research Fellows will be invited via email to participate.
- List research ideas on the WoW site for other Research Fellows to consider. They may wish to provide further advise or join the project team.
- Use the WoW resources to develop research proposals, grant applications or ethics submission.
- Support to enhance your publication profile as a primary or co-author in peer reviewed articles
- Access the WoW web resources provided to Clinical Friends of WoW including the Wound Product Guide, monthly news letter, clinical consultations, and clinicians chat area.
Membership is free. All we ask is that as a Research friend of WoW you agree to recruit patients for relevant research projects.
To apply for Research Friend Membership use the account registration on the left-hand side of this page. Once you have received confirmation of membership, send an email to Bill McGuiness - w.mcguiness@latrobe.edu.au with your details and the type of membership you wish to apply for.
